Hey,
i like to use OpenFOAM 7 with cfMesh 1.1.2 and Ubuntu 18.04.03.
I downloaded and install openFoam in the /opt directory.

Make the run directroy with
Code:
mkdir -p $FOAM_RUN
and copy the tutorials from cfMesh with
Code:
cp -r tutorials $FOAM_RUN
into it.
I want do to the first exercise like in the readme:
Code:
Copy the 'tutorials' examples directory in the cfMesh distribution to the
'run' directory. If the OpenFOAM environment variables are set correctly,
then the following command will work correctly:

  + cp -r tutorials $FOAM_RUN

Run the first example case of a simplified car body:

  + cd $FOAM_RUN/tutorials/asmoOctree
  + cartesianMesh

All cases have Allrun and Allclean scripts guiding you through the meshing process.
Code:
kai@Kai-Desktop:~/OpenFOAM/kai-7/run/tutorials/cartesianMesh/asmoOctree$ cartesianMesh
cartesianMesh: Befehl nicht gefunden.
kai@Kai-Desktop:~/OpenFOAM/kai-7/run/tutorials/cartesianMesh/asmoOctree$

Why is the command not found. what do i wrong ?

Best regards
Kai

Quick answer: You have to compile/build cfMesh, it's not just a matter of downloading it. Instructions are available here: https://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/E...ilities/cfMesh
