Hello everyone!

I have created an openFOAM utility called foamClean written in python to manage timesteps and fields in a decomposed case. Some common use cases:
  1. Reset the case to start over by deleting all timesteps from all processor folders except for 0.000e+00 directory
  2. Save space by removing all fields except alpha1 from all processorN/timestepT directories. If one is just interested in making an animation they might not be interested in all the fields, and modifying solver's output can be challenging.
I made it to be flexible to serve many needs. foamClean provides ample information about which timesteps will be affected and which fields will be kept or removed. You can take a look at the GitHub page for more details. I hope you find it useful!
