Hi Niels,

I 'm trying to compile waves2foam on OF2.4.0 but i encounter some errors with respect to libraries i suppose. I followed the process according to wiki (downloading GSL first -its directory is in usr/include-etc). I attach the wmake file. Have you any idea what's going wrong because i encounter the same problem even i try to compile it on OF2.2.2 on another desktop.

Kind Regards
Nick

Good evening,

@Nick: Note that you also need to have gfortran available. The errors relate to a missing gfortran library.

Kind regards,

Niels

Hi Niels,

i am trying to run waves2foam on OF 2.4.0 on a desktop (just compiled) and I suspect there is a problem with compilation and it doesn't work. Actually I saw the errors below :
ls: cannot access *.mod: No such file or directory
mv: cannot stat ‘*.mod’: No such file or directory
and also : could not open file foamTime.H for source file postProcessWaves2Foam.C due to No such file or directory,
could not open file foamTime.H for source file faceSetToSTL.C due to No such file or directory etc

But I attach the log from compilation for you to check.

Can you advise me please?

Best Regards
Nick

Good morning,

@Nick: Looking at your log-file, it seems that everything are compiling correctly.

Kind regards,

Niels
