CFD sailor is on a distinguished road
Hi, this is my first post here.
I have a problem running blueCFD-SingleCore-2.1 on my pc.
I followed this guide: http://code.google.com/p/bluecfd-sin...wiki/UserGuide
However, trying to do this: http://www.openfoam.org/docs/user/cavity.php I run into a problem when typing paraFoam.
I get the message: Windows cannot find 'paraview.exe'

I created the batchfile like this: set PATH=%PATH%;C:\Program Files (x86)\ParaView 3.12.0
Paraview is installed in that folder.
What can be the problem?
Thanks for your help.

Greetings Carlo and welcome to the forum!

Sorry about that. It's fixed now. The correct path was missing "\bin" at the end:
Code:
set PATH=%PATH%;C:\Program Files (x86)\ParaView 3.12.0\bin
Best regards,
Bruno

Thanks Bruno! I think the batchfile must point to the folder where the paraview.exe is.
I corrected this. However, I get the same message.
I installed blueCFD for myself, 1 user, only. The installtutorial made me think that was better. Maybe that's not better?
I include a picture where some folders can be seen. Am I missing something?
Thanks for your help, I appreciate it
EDIT: in the tutorial it sais: Go into the folder OpenFOAM-*\etc\config.d and create a file named: ParaView.bat
But I don't have a folder config.d
My folder is called config
Would that be a problem?

Hi Carlo,

You have to create the folder "config.d", which will become a sibling of the folder "config"

Best regards,
Bruno

OK I created this folder which has now a single file in it (ParaView.bat) and Paraview is running!
So triple thanks to you
I can now move on with the tutorial, CFD seems to be very complicated matter and this is my first encounter with it.
