Hey guys,

I am pretty new to openFOAM and have followed the installation guides. However, I cannot run paraview on my MacOS via Docker. I installed Qt 3.0.5 on the Mac, and CMake 3.12.0 in the ofuser directory. I don't know if it's possible to install Qt in the ofuser directory instead or if it makes a difference, so help there would be appreciated. OpenFoam version is v1712.

When I run paraview, this is the error I get:

Quote:
QStandardPaths: XDG_RUNTIME_DIR not set, defaulting to '/tmp/runtime-ofuser'
QXcbConnection: Could not connect to display
Aborted
When I go to the ThirdParty folder in opt/OpenFOAM and run ./makeParaview, this is the error:

Quote:
Using qmake=false
Error: cannot find qmake either at $QMAKE_PATH or in current $PATH
And when I run ./makeQt for a local installation,

Quote:
========================================
Build Qt qt-everywhere-opensource-src-

Starting build: Qt-
./makeQt: line 138: cd: /opt/OpenFOAM/ThirdParty-v1712/qt-everywhere-opensource-src-: No such file or directory
Error building: Qt-
I also tried navigating to the ThirdParty-v1712 folder and ran the following to get the file

but I ended up getting a Permission Denied error.

What do I do?
