Hey

I'm trying to install OF 2.11 on my laptop with Wubi running ubuntu 12.04. Everything works perfectly on the installation but when I copy the "Source /opt/openfoam211/etc/bashrc" line in the bashrc archive I get one error message on the terminal telling me that one syntax error is happening and the icoFoam -help comand do not show the correrct answer.

how can I fix it ?

thanks

Greetings leo_NM,

A transcript of the actual error message would come in handy... but if you did write in "~/.bashrc" the line:
Quote:
Code:
Source /opt/openfoam211/etc/bashrc
Then change the first "S" a lower case "s":
Code:
source /opt/openfoam211/etc/bashrc
Best regards,
Bruno

An image is clearly worth a thousand words!

OK, there are two problems that I can see:
  1. It's missing a space between "source" and "/opt".
  2. This line you're adding should be on it's own. In other words, it should look something like this:
    Code:
    fi

    source /opt/openfoam211/etc/bashrc
