Hello everyone!
I really need OF2.1.1 version on my computer, so I followed this guide:
http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/In...#openSUSE_12.2
but when I put this command to terminal:
source $HOME/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-2.1.1/etc/bashrc WM_NCOMPPROCS=4 WM_MPLIB=SYSTEMOPENMPI

I got only this as a reply:

Quote:
bash: /opt/openfoam210/bin/foamEtcFile: No such file or directory
bash: /opt/openfoam210/bin/foamCleanPath: No such file or directory
bash: /opt/openfoam210/bin/foamCleanPath: No such file or directory
bash: /opt/openfoam210/bin/foamCleanPath: No such file or directory
bash: /opt/openfoam210/etc/config/settings.sh: No such file or directory
bash: /opt/openfoam210/etc/config/aliases.sh: No such file or directory
bash: /opt/openfoam210/bin/foamEtcFile: No such file or directory
bash: /opt/openfoam210/bin/foamEtcFile: No such file or directory
bash: /opt/openfoam210/bin/foamCleanPath: No such file or directory
bash: /opt/openfoam210/bin/foamCleanPath: No such file or directory
bash: /opt/openfoam210/bin/foamCleanPath: No such file or directory
I got the same, when I tried type down command:
"source ~/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-2.1.1/etc/bashrc"

I found on forum, that there someone had similar problem here:
http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...directory.html
but this advices didn't helped me

Anyway, I just can't understand... if in bashrc file I have lines like that:

foamInstall=$HOME/$WM_PROJECT
# foamInstall=~$WM_PROJECT
# foamInstall=/opt/$WM_PROJECT
# foamInstall=/usr/local/$WM_PROJECT

and if I will write down command "echo $FOAM_INST_DIR" I get as an answer wrong directory "/opt". But if I write "echo $HOME/$WM_PROJECT" I get good answer folder /home/karol-linux/OpenFOAM" It doesn't make sense for me. Shoudn't I get as an answer "/home/karol-linux/OpenFOAM" in this case? What is wrong? I am really confused

Finally I removed OpenSUSE 12.3 from my computer, and then I installed OpenSUSE version 12.1. After that I followed this installation instruction:
http://albertopassalacqua.com/?p=1210
and now everything works well. Good luck
