Just install OF, I think rather well, seams to handle the first steps of the tutorial.
I did however get this error " E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (11: Resource temporarily unavailable) E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), is another process using it? " is it a big deal? PD: 100% noob at linux, what kind of directory is "$FOAM_RUN" and how come when I put "cp -r $FOAM_TUTORIALS $FOAM_RUN " I didn't had to specify the path? |

Greetings ChukerSweet,
Regarding the first issue, what exactly did you do to get that error message? Regarding the "FOAM_RUN" question, study this wiki page: http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/In...with_the_Shell Best regards, Bruno
