OpenFOAM compilation error

I am trying to compile OpenFOAM 2.3.1 and my OS is OpenSUSE 13.2, I have run foamSystemCheck and all seems OK, but when I run Allwmake several errors occour. Errors looks like :

Code:

collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
/opt/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-2.3.1/wmake/Makefile:149: recipe for target '/opt/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-2.3.1/platforms/linux64GccDPOpt/bin/checkMesh' failed
make: *** [/opt/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-2.3.1/platforms/linux64GccDPOpt/bin/checkMesh] Error 1

Ho can fix this ?

Greetings Marco and welcome to the forum!

I strongly advise you to first build OpenFOAM as a normal user and not as root. Nonetheless, I'm guessing something didn't go very well when you started working in root mode, so I suggest you read/study this page: http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/In...with_the_Shell

Beyond this, detailed instructions for building OpenFOAM 2.3.1 on openSUSE 13.2 are available here: http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/In...#openSUSE_13.2

Best regards,
Bruno
