[OpenFOAM.org] How to install OpenFOAM on Mac

I would like to install OpenFOAM on my Mac. Where can I find a full installation guide on how to do this. I have read many forums but cannot find anything that explicitly states how to install OpenFOAM from scratch for someone with little to no experience. Are there any threads that explain this process in detail?

Hi,

Could you, please, point out what is wrong with the guides (since you did not mention what version you would like to install I post link to arbitrary versions):

- http://www.sourceflux.de/blog/compil...oam-mavericks/ (well, guess fault of this one is Mavericks instead of Yosemite)

The only EXPLICIT thing about OpenFOAM and Mac is that OpenFOAM does not support this platform

Preferably the newest version but any will do.
Im also running yosemite v10.10.5

OK, you have commented on remark about version, but you have skipped question. Could you elaborate on what is wrong with the guides, I have posted links to?
