OpenFoam 3.0 installation on Ubuntu 14.04.3
 

Hi,

Trying to install OpenFoam 3.0 on Ubuntu 14.04.03 version. Manage to install but could not get past the User Configuration Section on the OpenFoam website (http://www.openfoam.org/download/ubuntu.php). I followed step 1 & 2 (under User Configuration) as instructed but when I open a new terminal window I get the message:

bash: source /opt/openfoam30/etc/bashrc: No such file or directory

I am completely new to Ubuntu OS and OpenFoam so any advice that can help resolve this is appreciated.

Hi,

Since /opt/openfoam30/etc/bashrc file is a part of package and it can not be found, guess there was a failure during installation. Could you post output of steps 1, 2, and 3 from "New installation" section of the guide?

I cleared the Terminal window and reinstalled OpenFoam. This time it worked and the issue is resolved.

and i complete read your forums,but there are just for openfoam version 1.6 until 2.3
how can you help me?
