Error Installing surfaceBooleanFeatures

1 Attachment(s)
Hello everyone!

I've recently changed over to openFOAM for CFD simulations and during the installation of the surfaceBooleanFeatures the system ran into the following error "/home/su2/OpenFOAM/ThirdParty-v3.0+/platforms/linux64Gcc/CGAL-4.7/include/CGAL/Kd_tree.h:34:37: fatal error: boost/container/deque.hpp: No such file or directory". After this Fatal Error occurred the system left OpenFOAM-v3.0+/applications/utilities/surface directory leaving all the rest of the surface directories uninstalled. I have rerun the installation and attached .txt file of the installation terminal readout.

I did not notice this error at the time, however It was noticed when I attempted to run a SnappyHexMesh tutorial case and found that the surfaceFeatureExtract command was not installed. If anyone has any recommendations on how to move forward with solving this problem I would greatly appreciate the advice. Thanks to everyone in advance.

Problem Found - Needs solution

1 Attachment(s)
Hello everyone,

Since my last post I have tracked down the problem to the boost library and found that it did not have the needed directories, which are only available in newer versions of boost. To remedy this I have installed a new boost library however now I receive the error shown below below upon executing Allwmake (in OpenFOAM-v3.0+).

undefined reference to `boost::detail::get_tss_data(void const*)'

Preceding this error I receive a very interesting ./Allwmake readout. I have attached this readout for your parousal.

If anyone could provide any advice or possible solutions to deal with this problem, I would greatly appreciate the help.

All the best,
Blair
