I would like to implement Immersed boundary method in OpenFOAM by adding a force term to the Navier stokes equation .
Some extra steps should be added between the PISO algorithm steps of the icoFoam e.g adding a force term, interpolating velocity at specific interface etc. Does anybody have any guide, idea, code etc. on how to implement any of these steps? Thank you in advance. |

Hi,
Dr. Tukovic had coded a type of immersed boundary methods into OpenFOAM. You may take a glance at it: http://openfoam-extend.sourceforge.n...7_Program.html |

But the mentioned project, changes the boundary conditions to implement this method, and not adding a force term to the navier stokes equation. |

Daniel, I am looking to exactly do this. Were you able to implement it. Can you please elaborate the procedure?
