Installing on Ubuntu 14.04 Errors

Hello everyone,
I am currently encountering some errors installing OpenFOAM from source that I believe to be related to Boost. I installed boost using the commands provided by OpenFOAM (shown below): sudo apt-get install build-essential flex bison cmake zlib1g-dev libboost-system-dev libboost-thread-dev libopenmpi-dev openmpi-bin gnuplot libreadline-dev libncurses-dev libxt-dev sudo apt-get install qt4-dev-tools libqt4-dev libqt4-opengl-dev freeglut3-dev libqtwebkit-dev During installation of OpenFOAM I receive errors stating "undefined reference to `boost::detail::get_tss_data(void const*)". There are multiple outputs similar to this throughout the installation. I have done some research and found that the error relates to ways that the certain "non-header" boost libraries are linked, however I have had no luck finding a solution and since I used the apt-get tools I don't see how I could have mis-installed the program. I have attached the terminal readout during the installation of OpenFOAM for your perusal. Has anyone ran into a similar problem or know of a way to remedy this problem? I would greatly appreciate any help that you guys can give me. Thanks in advance, Climenha |
