Quick answer: Either you didn't run the complete command that is shown in the wiki page, namely the "2>&1" part might be missing in the command you ran:
Code:

./Allwmake > log.make 2>&1
Or you accidentally hit the key combination Ctrl+C, which aborted the build.

Either way, please run the command above once again.

dear Bruno
thank you for reply. i am installing openfoam 2.4.0 as second foam. i have foam-extend 3.1 now on ubuntu 14.04. i will do your suggestion and inform you. i have another problem with 'wmake' command and install swake4Foam. when i type wmake it gives 'wmake: command not found'. i followed https://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/I...14.04_to_15.10 for installing
swake4Foam. but it gives attached error log file. how can i fix it?

thanks a lot
Ali

Quick answer: You forgot to activate the OpenFOAM or foam-extend shell environment. You should either run of240 or fe31 or whichever alias you are using.
