Hello,

I am new to OpenFOAM. I run into an error during installation. I would be glad if someone would help me resolve it. Your help is greatly appreciates.

1. You should be asking this in OpenFOAM Installation forum https://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/op...-installation/
2. I don't see any errors in the attached file. It installs paraview perfectly(part of third party packages) it seems.

Hello Khedar,

Thank you for your prompt response. In the last lines is an error. Its says RPM build errors (please see below). I am not sure how this RPM files is generated.

Quick question @Kay: Which Linux Distribution are you using?
Because the error message is not clear as to why it was not able to build ParaView, therefore we need to at least know how we can try and reproduce the same error.

Hello Bruno,

sorry I missed your reply. Really sorry. I was using Ubuntu 16.04.1. This was probably the problem with libraries. I changed now with Openfoam 2.4 and this could compile and I could also use paraview. Thanks a lot.
