Hi there!

i succeeded in installing openfoam on different win7 computers several times. But now I am running into an error which i've never seen before:

The installer claims that the /root/.entry.sh is erroneous and not a valid repository/tag.

In previous threads i read that an invalid repository or tag may arise in case of invalid characters.

Does anybody know how to solve this problem or where to find this .entry.sh? I am stuck for weeks now.

Did you change anything in image i.e docker image by logging as root and committing change

I had problems with Docker too at a special machine. I found no way around it.

Eventually I used the Windows port (without a virtual machine) from cfdsupport which works fine on every machine.

thanks for the answers.

afaik i made no root changes in the image.
but i had a previous virtual box running, maybe that causes the troubles.
i completely uninstalled the virtual boxes and removed all machines though.
