I have reinstalled three times and the openFOAM_Start file opens really quick and then closes about 2 seconds later and I cant really tell what is on it. The other of_env_create file install goes smoothly and tells me to close the window and that its ready. I also opened oracel VM and it seems to be running. I am on windows 10 and I do have the hardware assisted virtualization on. I am also unexperienced with this sort of stuff.
Thanks

This may be correct as it simply gives the right environment.
Do you expect a visual interface in openFoam? There isn't one. I recommend to start with some cases from the tutorial.

Hi Ben
  • Click on the Docker Quickstart terminal shortcut on your desktop to open the terminal. Check for any error messages. If there are no error messages, go to the next step.
  • Type the command, docker images in the terminal. Also type docker ps -a and post the output . docker images command will tell whether the image has been loaded correctly and docker ps -a will help in understanding whether container has been created i.e the interface with which you will work
