[OpenFOAM.org] Error compiling OF 5.x

Dear all,

after downloading the updates for OF 5.x I cannot compile it anymore. I also tried with a clean install but with no luck.
Attached you find the log file of the compilation. Can anyone please help me?

Quick question: Which specific Linux Distribution and version are you using?

If you are using Ubuntu, have you accidentally or intentionally upgraded to Ubuntu 17.10 recently?

Dear Bruno,
sorry for the incomplete thread. I am using Ubuntu 14.04.
What I accidentally did is to use ./Allwmake instead of ./Allwmake -update after using git pull. But even after doing a clean install it gives me the error above.

Quick answer: I was able to reproduce this just now, with an up-to-date installation of Ubuntu 14.04... but I don't have time right now to diagnose why this is happening.

Please report this at the issue tracker https://bugs.openfoam.org - OpenFOAM 5.x is meant to build with Ubuntu 14.04 without problems... The instructions at https://openfoam.org/download/5-0-ubuntu/ are proof of that, so I don't know what exactly is going on wrong or right. Perhaps the person responsible for packaging the Deb packages at the OpenFOAM Foundation knows what's going on here.

I have posted the bug in the official OF issue tracker and now it has been fixed by the developers.
