Fellow foamers,
I have been trying to install foam-extend 3.2 in Ubuntu 16, however whenever I try to source the bashrc file I get the following error:

Quote:
bash: /home/david/foam/foam-extend-3.2/bin/foamGetSystemInfo: No such file or directory
bash: /home/david/foam/foam-extend-3.2/bin/foamCleanPath: No such file or directory
bash: /home/david/foam/foam-extend-3.2/bin/foamCleanPath: No such file or directory
bash: /home/david/foam/foam-extend-3.2/bin/foamCleanPath: No such file or directory
bash: /home/david/foam/foam-extend-3.2/etc/settings.sh: No such file or directory
bash: /home/david/foam/foam-extend-3.2/etc/aliases.sh: No such file or directory
bash: /home/david/foam/foam-extend-3.2/bin/foamCleanPath: No such file or directory
bash: /home/david/foam/foam-extend-3.2/bin/foamCleanPath: No such file or directory
bash: /home/david/foam/foam-extend-3.2/bin/foamCleanPath: No such file or directory
as a note I have other OF installations (4.2 and 5), however the sourcing/alias/etc is commented out in my .bashrc

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi,

Where is source code of the software located? Is it in /home/david/foam/foam-extend-3.2?

Hi Alex,
Thank you for your post. Indeed, the installation path was the problem. I was using the default path for OpenFOAM 4 onwards. I changed from home/david/OpenFOAM/foam-extend-3.2 to home/david/foam/foam-extend-3.2 and it worked.
