Hi,

I want to install OpenFOAM 1.6 in hpc(without administrator rights). Can anyone help me in this problem?

Quick questions:
  1. Are you asking about OpenFOAM 1.6 or 1.6-ext? Because there is a big difference between the two versions:
  2. Which Linux Distribution is being used at the HPC platform that you have access to?
  3. If at the HPC platform they are using CentOS or RHEL, then what does the following command give you?
    Code:
    module avail
    It should list the available modules of software, which will allow us to give installation instructions based on them, i.e. to be able to compile OpenFOAM without having to compile any other custom compilers...
  4. If you don't know which Linux distribution they are using, then run this command:
    Code:
    uname -a
    If there is any occurrence of "el6" or "el7", then it's CentOS or RHEL...
