Change docker dir on CentOS 7 with OpenFOAM 6
Hi All,
I have installed OpenFoam V6 in my Linux - CentOs 7 system which has 5 slaves. The /home is an NFS mount but the docker which I have installed is under /usr/bin/... how can I change or If i reinstall the OpenFoam V6, how can I change the directory to /home/..? I used this link to install the openFoam V 6. https://openfoam.org/download/6-linux/ Thanks, Boomessh V |
Quick answer: I read and answered to your previous thread before this one.
I suggested in the other thread something that is even more applicable to your post above: It would be simpler to install OpenFOAM 6 from source code, by following the instructions provided here: https://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/I...7.5_.281804.29 - that way you reduce the level of complexity in your installation. The Docker solution is just a quick deployment meant for users that have a single workstation. Deploying it on a cluster can be a nightmare, because it requires activating the container on all nodes, before launching the actual simulation. If you still want to use Docker, this page seems to have the answer: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/...r-1-13-version |
