Dear Foamers,

recently I installed the latest version of OF v1906. Everything looked good, until decomposePar is used:

decomposePar: error while loading shared libraries: libkahip.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

So I did recompile KaHIP in the thridparty folder successfully. But it turned out "libkahipDecomp.so" is installed instead in:

Quote:
~/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-v1906/platforms/linux64GccDPInt32Opt/lib
Then I re-named libkahipDecomp.so to libkahip.so. I can use decomposePar but with:

Segmentation fault (core dumped).

So how do we use kaHIP to decompose fluid Domain?

-------------------------

Update:

libkahipDecomp.so is only 73.5kb in size, while the "libkahip.a" in

Quote:
/OpenFOAM/ThirdParty-v1906/KaHIP_v2.00d/deploy
is 2.7 MB. So we need make the static lib to *.so and copy to the above folder. How we do that?

Update 2:

Re-run ./Allwmake in `OpenFOAM-v1906` folder fixed the problem.
