Issues with Allwmake -Current directory is not $WM_PROJECT_DIR

Good evening to everyone!
I'm a new openfoam user. I tried to install OpenFOAM 2.1.1 on my Ubuntu 18.04 machine but i found many issues. I have already installed OpenFOAM 7 with of7 as alias. When i try to compile with ./Allwmake the terminal output is:

carlo@carlo-N552VX:~$ of211 //*of211 is the alias of OpenFOAM2.1.1*//
carlo@carlo-N552VX:~$ cd $WM_PROJECT_DIR
carlo@carlo-N552VX:/opt/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-2.1.1$ sudo ./Allwmake
[sudo] password di carlo:
./Allwmake: 5: ./Allwmake: wmakeCheckPwd: not found
Error: Current directory is not $WM_PROJECT_DIR
The environment variables are inconsistent with the installation.
Check the OpenFOAM entries in your dot-files and source them.
carlo@carlo-N552VX:/opt/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-2.1.1$

What can i do to resolve this issue???

Thanks a lot,
Carlo
