Default Error installing with Docker on Linux

I'm trying to install OpenFOAM on my Raspberry Pi 4 (yes I know...) and I've gone for the Docker method for Linux, here: https://www.openfoam.com/download/in...nary-linux.php

the Docker image downloads fine and running ./installOpenFOAM for the first time downloads everything correct. When I run it again, it creates the container wihtout error.

However, when I run ./startOpenFOAM, I get the following error:

Error response from daemon: Container <long_container_id> is not running

This happens both when I'm ssh'd into my Pi, and when I'm directly on the Pi.

I understand a Pi isn't the best for CFD but as it runs Linux, I don't see why it wouldn't work?

Thanks for the help.

It's using Raspian which is an OS based on Debian.

I have never used Docker, so be cautious please.

I found this: "When the application terminates, so does the container."

"By default, docker container will exit immediately if you do not have any task running on the container."

Do you know what `./startOpenFOAM` script actually does? Does it open something specific, or perform some tutorial?

EDIT: Isn't it possible to compile OpenFOAM directly in Debian instead of using Docker which is only for Windows I suppose?

Docker is hugely popular on both Linux and Mac OS, not just Windows.

The official OpenFOAM website even suggests it be installed this way on a Linux OS:
https://www.openfoam.com/download/in...nary-linux.php

I suspect my issue is to do with X11 or some sort of display issue and how it works with Docker but I'm out my depth.
