[foam-extend.org] Installing foam-extend-4.1 on Offline Cluster

Hello everyone,

I'm the HPC system admin in a company and one of our users requested to install foam-extend-4.1 on our system.

When I tried to install, the Allwmake.firstInstall script tried to download some packages from internet. But our system is an offline cluster and connecting to Internet is not an option. So the installation failed.

I wonder if is it possible to install foam-extend without any Internet connection.

Hi,

- I would pinpoint the missing prerequisite modules, and install/compile them first.
- Otherwise, per se, OF does not need to download stuff during its compilation. Do I miss something in your question?
