paraFoam command not working to view mesh

Hello, I've only recently downloaded OpenFoam in the past few days and have made a mesh of an object but im unable to view it in paraView. When i enter paraFoam in the command window, i get the following.

'paraFoam' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

I tried messing around with the bashrc file but I really don't know what I'm doing. Im on Windows 11 trying to run paraview 5.11.1. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello Madhu,

Please tell us more information about your installation.

As far as I know now. you are using OpenFOAM with WSL now.
If you want to run the command
Code:

parafoam
, you need to compile the Paraview in the "ThirdParty" folder. In fact, I do not suggest you to do this.
You can install the Paraview in Windows.
And then run command
Code:

explorer.exe .
to open your case folder in windows explore. You need to create a file name xxx.foam, e.g. test.foam,, and drag it to the paraview window.

Best regards.
