Dear All,
Good afternoon,
I am trying to install openFoam, steps followed by openfoam.com, what happened is that after installing openfoam2312, I am not able to see the binary "foamRun" command, I can see foamRunTutorials
Do not know whether I missed some steps during installation

Request guidance on what could be the possible reason that "foamRun" is not there in the installation of openfoam2312

Hello Joseph,

foamRun is specific to the modular approach implemented in the OpenFOAM foundation branch (openfoam.org) in the OpenFOAM-11 release.
(see release notes: https://openfoam.org/release/11/ and more specifically https://github.com/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM...96d6193713d7e5)

The OpenCFD branch (openfoam.com) does not use this modular approach and this is why foamRun is not implemented in OpenFOAM-v2312.

Be careful to stick to the documentation corresponding to the branch you are using.
