I found the Openfoam binaries at http://powerlab.fsb.hr/ped/kturbo/OpenFOAM/release/ very useful to get started with Openfoam, because I couldn't manage to compile it myself. Is such a precompiled archive available for 64-bit linux, too? P. Milkov |

I recently posted my experience on compiling OF-devel on a 64-bit platform (redhat). I basically expanded Hrvoje's instructions, and included bits of wisdom gleaned from other places as well.

Mirko, before I start over with the compilation experience, I would like to check whether the native 64 bit code promises a significant speedup. If yes, your expanded instructions are more than welcome. Pavel |
