i tried to install g++, but got errors E:/var/cache/apttried to/archives/libc6-dev_2.6.1-1ubuntu10_i386.deb: trying to overwrite `/usr/lib/libanl.a', which is also in package glibc-devel i typed "which g++"&"g++ -v" into termianal fw407@fw407-laptop:~$ which g++ /usr/bin/g++ fw407@fw407-laptop:~$ g++ -v Using built-in specs. i re-install ubuntu .first i i
i re-install ubuntu .first i install g++ ,after that i follow the steps on the website about the installation of openFoam, then everything is ok!
it seems i do not need a glibc-dev ,which conflicts with the g++ of the systems and cause the errors i post above. feng |
