Hi all,
Perhaps you can help me out as I seem kind of stuck in getting OpenFOAM installed in the location I want it to. As we use a cluster, our installation is supposed to be installed on a shared NFS environment and for tuning reasons we want to build it from scratch. The compiling and linking seems to go fine but installing OpenFOAM in a different directory other than $WM_PROJECT_DIR causes everything to fail during the build process. Setting the env. variable WM_PROJECT_INST_DIR is set to the directory I want OpenFOAM to be installed (totally separate from the source environment) but this gets totally ignored. Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong? (it would seem rather obvious to just set the WM_PROJECT_INST_DIR and have the build process automagically install it there but it seems hellbent on installing in WM_PROJECT_DIR) Regards, Jeroen |
