I thought that I successfully posted this earlier today so I hope it doesnt end up being a double post.

Ive installed OpenFOAM 1.4 i386 on two machines successfully, but Im having issues installing 1.4.1 i86-64. foamInstallationTest is complaining that there are two paths for gcc (I dont know where to tell it to simply use the OpenFOAM/linux copy, or if it is that simple) and that icoFoam is not present. FoamX complains that nsd is not present (I did find nsd, but I dont know what config file controls where FoamX looks for it).

Would I be better off compiling myself or is this stuff fixable? Im a linux novice but definitely willing to learn more to get this running. Im doing this for work and really just want to start using OpenFOAM and finish configuring it.

Check that the correct lines have been added to your .cshrc or .bashrc and that WM_64 is on.
