Hi,

I just managed to install OpenFOAM and I'm having trouble running FoamX.

Everytime I try to run it, it would only display this:

[Ian@localhost ~]$ FoamX
Starting NameServer with inet:localhost.localdomain:1234 ...
nsd: error while loading shared libraries: libelf.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.

Would really appreciate it if someone could tell me how to get it up & running.

It has been discussed many times
on the board. go to search and type:
FoamX libelf
with
keyword options: AND
This will give you a range of
possibilities and threads. basicaly
you need libelf library.
you can probably download it from:
http://www.mr511.de/software/english.html
but first please read the threads

Unfortunately there's now another problem.

could someone tell me what does that mean and how could I fix that?
