I have a problem with installation of openFOAM, when i check my system by executing the script foamSystemcheck, I have an error message:

Test_ssh: Unsuccessuful, Connection refused*

foam 2.3 environment requires

I would to precise that i have only one pc, i'm not connected to a network and i have only 'ssh ' command

help me, please

As far as I can remember the
 

As far as I can remember the 'passwordless' ssh/rsh is only required if you are want to run parallel or FoamX remotely.

I had a similar problem - seemed that i needed to add the machine to the 'etc/hosts' file (SUSE v9.2). I.e. underneath where localhost is defined, i added the machine IP address and machine name.

Also, (your main problem) it looks like you did not install the linux components that are distributed with foam.

Check the Foam installation instructions again. You need to download and install the linux/linuxAMD64 - subdirectory of third-party binary packs.
