I have successfully installed
I have successfully installed OpenFOAM in my local machine. Now I want to do my work on a remote cluster. How should I install it? The following is what I do:
I log into the remote cluster and copy all the installation files to it. Then I unpack all the files under the introduction given in "README". But finally I test it by running runFoamX, the error came with "nsd: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory". Then I type "which gcc", it show that the gcc is located in "usr/local/bin" not in my HOME directory. If I run "foamInstallationTest", it warn the gcc and java are conflicting with the old versions in the remote machine. What should I do to make a successful installation? |
you have to set up your $WM_P
you have to set up your $WM_PROJECT_DIR/.cshrc file ... variables like WM_COMPILER_DIR, WM_COMPILER_BIN, WM_COMPILER_LIB have to point to the right location ... you can do the same thing for java ...
