Installation problem on Fedora 10 (OF 1.5)
 

Hello everyone,

I just started to learn OpenFOAM and tried to install version 1.5 on my laptop which has Fedora 10.

I downloaded all necessary files and unpack them.
And just followed the instructions written in "README".

1. source the etc/bashrc file by adding the following line to the end of my $HOME/.bashrc file:
$HOME/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.5/etc/bashrc

2. update the environment variables by sourcing the $HOME/.bashrc file by typing in the terminal :
$HOME/.bashrc

However, only "applications" and "lib" folder were created under <username>-1.5 folder. And there are not any files.

I found no error messages.

When I execute the command "foamInstallationTest", fatal error message was shown.

Anyone have this kind of similar problem?

All things are OK.

Just read the user manual of OpenFOAM, and follow the tutorials in Chapter 2.
