Hi,

I have downloaded and installed OF1.7.1 from centFOAM.

I am building the doxygen documentation, and dot is complaining about the png renderer:

Renderer type: "png" not recognized. Use one of: ...
Problems running dot. Check your installation!

I looked at my installed libraries and I see a couple of png ones (gd, libpng) installed, and a couple uninstalled (pnglite).

What libriaries do other users use for png rendering?

I tried specifying the jpg format in the doc/doxygen/Doxyfile, and that gave me the same error.

Then I tried specifying one of the suggested formats, svg, but then I got an error that it is an unsupported format, and that doxygen is reverting to the default.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Mirko

Greetings Mirko,

I've finished testing building the documentation in CentOS 4.8 and I had to follow these instructions to setup the package repository: http://www.graphviz.org/Download_linux_rhel.php

Then, since installing all of the graphviz packages didn't work, I just installed two of them, by running:
Code:
yum install graphviz graphviz-gd
And it worked! All of the code documentation got built... although since the Doxygen version that comes with CentOS 4.8 is a bit old, not all of the Doxygen functionalities were working

Best regards and good luck!
Bruno

Thanks Bruno, that did the trick. I have a follow up question, but I will do that in a separate thread.
