Hi,

I've been trying to install openFOAM-v1712 on a supercomputer running linux (architecture x86_64). I can get through the third party compiles without any problems, but when it gets to the openfoam compile I get "mpicc not found". I also get that message when I initially do " source ~/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-v1712/etc/bashrc "

The default cc on the system is the cc that comes with cray, or intel (if I switch modules).

Is there a workaround to mpicc?

Thanks
Gaurav

Hi there,
you need to have openmpi installed in order to be able to use mpicc. And if you already have it installed you need to export the path as it is said in this forum https://stackoverflow.com/questions/...mmand-in-linux
Or if you want to completely change the compiling, there is a file in foam in which the details of compilers are written and you may change it from there (sorry but I don't remember the name of it now ).

Hope this helps...
