Hi,

I have a problem with arc edges in my mesh, they don't appear in paraFoam although they are defined correctly. I defined these arc edges like many others in my mesh but only some don't work.

Why is that, can anybody help me with this problem.

I have attached a picture were the missing arc is red circled. Please find also attached the blockMeshDict file. You can find this arc between vertices 4 and 7 in the blockMeshDict file (arc 4 7 (-100 0 300)).

(To get these arcs would be of important value for me in order to create cyclic AMI patches with these faces.)

Many thanks in advance,
Alex

Hi Alexander,

I got the PM you sent me. Right now I'm working on fumes and really tired, so the best I can suggest is this:
  1. You can diagnose your "blockMeshDict" with this command:
    Code:
    paraFoam -block
You can confirm this option by running:
    Code:
    paraFoam -help
  2. Use SwiftBlock: http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Contrib/SwiftBlock
I'm not 100% certain if it will work for what you need to do, but at least it might help you get closer to the solution.
Good luck!
Bruno
