[blockMesh] circle define

whats the command for defining a semi-circle(a piece of arc!) by blockMesh?
I want to model a circular tank that is attached to a pipe,how to do it?(maybe defining a full circle and add it with a rectangle,how?)

Have you seen the cylinder tutorial for potentialFoam? It contains a mesh around half a cylinder, and it should be fairly easy to extend it both for a complete cylinder and a full 3D case. It does describe how to create an arc fairly well.

Also see the the "OpenFOAM programmers Guide" page P-41. This guide is located at: doc/Guides-a4/ProgrammersGuide.pdf

But for your case (internal flow in pipe) it is of course slightly different, but it is not necessarily more difficult. See the following links for reference/inspiration:
