Generated Mesh not visible in ensight

Hello all,
I am trying to simulate a small action in openfoam using a block mesh of fairly small dimension. The mesh seems to work fine when created, but when we try to view in ensight, the result does not show up. The block mesh file is shown here. __________________________________________________ ___________ convertToMeters 1e-4; vertices ( (0 0 0) (0.1 0 0) (0.1 0.1 0) (0 0.1 0) (0 0 0.1) (0.1 0 0.1) (0.1 0.1 0.1) (0 0.1 0.1) ); blocks ( hex (0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7) (100 100 100) simpleGrading (1 1 1) ); __________________________________________________ ___________ This seems to be causing an issue when the cell volumes go below 1e-20. The size just above this works, with a cell volume of 1e-18. We would also like to have meshes smaller than this, but they did not work either. This leads me to believe there is an issue in openfoam which does not allow smaller cell volumes or something, does anyone know how to fix this? I have tried looking in the src files for some sort of indicator which gives zero volume if its below a certain value or something but the search has not turned up anything so far. |
