I have been looking for a solution online, but all of the options I have found are very confusing. This is what I would like to do:

Split the cells in a given cellSet with the same cutting plane. For instance, I could make a cellSet out of all the cells through which the plane z = 100.0 passes. I would then like to split these cells with that plane, and then write the new mesh to disk.

Is there an OpenFOAM utility that can do this for me? I have been looking at meshCutter, which uses cellCuts, but from what I can tell, this only splits each cell using a plane going through the cell centre.
