I want to study the flow of blood through an artery having a bulge(aneurysm).
I intend to use openFoam for my simulation. So, how do I create a cylindrical geometry where the radius of the cylinder changes as a function(Gaussian function to be specific) of the axial distance. Is it possible to create such a geometry using blockMesh tool? If not, what software should I be using? Suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thank you. |

You can create the mesh with snappyHexMesh, but you need some other tool for geometry. Perhaps Solidworks or some other CAD-software?

Thanks Kal-EI for the reply. I was able to make the mesh using blockMesh. I used polyLine to create the geometry with varying radius.
