Hi All,

after some very exciting lessons in blockMeshing I'll try to clear something, correct me if I'm wrong!

1. For face matching (see users manual) the conjoined blocks have to have the SAME definition vertices! Otherwise blockMesh won't find the connection and create a funny mesh with thousands of blocks and defaultFaces...

2. For face merging the conjoined blocks have to have DIFFERENT (duplicated) definition vertices! Otherwise the definition of merge-patches fails because of the same vertices...

Think, this was never really explained and caused some of the problems faced during mesh generation with blockMesh in here.
