small patches in big mesh
 

hello

what's the best way in blockmesh to make small patches, as you can see in the picture below? (green is a inlet)
i want to avoid nr. 2 because i want to have about 20 inlets like this and this would mean that i must describe hundrets of blocks.
Is it possible to do it like nr.3 or better like nr.1 only to define only the cell-faces which are the boundary condition?

i read something about patchTool, could this help?

i think it's not feasible with blockMesh, so i'm going to use salome...
