Hi!
I've to set the boundaries of my domain. The domain is a squared plane (1x1x0.1) and I'm starting from the transport tutorial file. I should set a number of patches and a starting patch but I don't know which one to choose, as I don't know how the patches are numbered. Can you help me?
Thanks

Patches are not numbered, there's no need to put them in order. Once you've defined your vertices (numbered), blocks, and edges you can define your patch by the faces it is composed of. And every face is defined by the NUMBER (not coordinate) of the four vertices it contains.

Look at the blockMeshDict of tutorials/incompressible/icoFoam/cavity/constant/polyMesh as an example.

Hope it helps
