[CGNS] How to convert structured CGNS to unstructured?

Hi all,

is there any way how to convert a structured .cgns file to an unstructured one (just the format of the data, not geometry or mesh topology)? I have tried conversion via ICEM CFD, but it fails...

Hi,

Sorry this is not a solution - I have a question for you. I'm trying to generate a unstructured .cgns file too. Can I ask what program you used to create the structured .cgns file and also if you know if there are any open source meshers with the .cgns support - I've really struggled to find one.

Hi, I have used the GridPro mesh gen, which produces only structured meshes. Unstructured cgns can be generated in e.g. ICEM CFD or ANSA, which however are not opensource. In fact, I do not know any opensource mesh gen that would do such a job, sorry...
