Has anyone had any luck installing Salome in the Windows Subsystem for Linux? I have tried a few times, always getting Python errors. I am using Python2.7.

I don't think your going to have any luck with graphical applications. I think that there is a version of salome 1 version old (8.3) that works with windows.

I actually got it to work using the Universal Binaries. I've had quite a bit of success with graphic programs in WSL. Let me know if you have any problems.

Hi shang2,

Can you list the steps you had to take to get it running under WSL?

I would really appreciate it
