Dear OpenFOAMers:

I am working on a conjugate heat transfer project which involves an assembly of complex parts and some parts are thin wall parts with curved surface.

For snappyHexMesh to work, I tried to refine the parts to level that fills at least 3 cells between the thin walls. The problem is that, this generates lots of elements. Has anyone here has the experience dealing with assemblies with thin wall parts? Any suggestion on reducing number of elements?

Thanks!

Pei
