Boundary face

Hi,

Has anyone tried to export the mesh together with the bounday face information directly from gmsh?

I just started playing with gmsh. Can someone post the steps how this can be done?

I have asked the same question on the gmsh mailing list, but, still no reponse yet.

Thanks!

Pei

You create your geometry using lines, planes and volumes. Then you create
Physical Surfaces which are named.

example: Physical Surface ("top") = {3,4};

where 3 and 4 are surface numbers.

If you create physical surfaces, then make sure you also create a physical volume or nothing will end up in OpenFOAM.

[Yes, I realize this question is 3 years old, but someone should really answer some of these for new people seaching these forums.]
